On Saturday August 31, the world-renowned Hash Holes & Donuts series once again proved its cultural pull, hosting another sold-out event in Burbank dedicated to celebrating the artistry of hash and rosin. Tickets were gone well before doors opened, reaffirming the event’s reputation as one of the most anticipated gatherings in the space.

A Festival of Craft and Community

From the moment doors opened at 6 PM, the energy was undeniable. Guests entered a pristine, never-before-used venue that set the stage for an evening blending music, food, vendors, and of course, the very best in hash and rosin.

VIP ticket holders were treated to early access and curated goodie bags, while the general crowd quickly filled the venue, eager to shop exclusive drops and connect with like-minded enthusiasts. Performers, food vendors, and brand activations created a festival-like atmosphere, underscoring the unique blend of culture and community that has become Hash Holes & Donuts’ signature.

A highlight of the night came when artist Marty Grimes unveiled his Marty Missile: Hash Hole Edition, adding another layer of excitement to an already electric evening.

The Vision Behind the Movement

Hash Holes & Donuts was co-founded by Josh Schmidt, co-founder of Sluggers, and Fidels, the legacy operator turned brand powerhouse behind Fidel’s Hash Holes. Together, the two envisioned a traveling event series that would celebrate not just products, but the community and culture surrounding solventless hash and rosin. What began as a shared idea between friends has quickly evolved into a global movement, with every stop selling out and attracting connoisseurs from across the industry.

Josh Schmidt reflected on the significance of the night:

“This past Saturday in LA showed the power of community. Without the support of the brands, sponsors, and every single person who came out, none of this would be possible. The energy in the room was undeniable… we’re grateful to be surrounded by a network that continues to push the culture forward. Seeing new friends connect with old ones is what makes Hash Holes & Donuts so special.”

What’s Next

With another sold-out success under its belt, Hash Holes & Donuts has further solidified its reputation as the ultimate celebration of craft, creativity, and connection. As Schmidt and Fidels continue to grow the series, one thing remains clear: this isn’t just an event — it’s a cultural force.
